Each air channel has a manual valve that blocks wind and dust when closed. The visor uses a mechanical locking mechanism that prevents detachment during strong impact. The rounded jaw edge and recessed flexible lower edges spread impact loads over a wider area. The shell is molded from composite engineering plastic.
