Manzo

Manzo is a bedroom furniture collection that includes a wide chest of drawers, a standard chest of drawers and a nightstand. The design is inspired by the interplay of light and shadow seen when sunlight passes through tree leaves. Two materials are combined so that each keeps its own character while supporting the whole. The bodies are made of plywood with a walnut veneer, which removes the need for edge banding. All curves are pressed in one mold, and the upper part is carved by CNC and finished with semi-matte polyurethane paint. The glass panel can be replaced if damaged.

Two LED light sources are used in every model. The lower source lights the functional areas of a room. The upper source lights the glass and creates reflections on its surface. The three models can be combined into larger compositions.
