A hot safe meter indicates when the lid and handle are too hot to touch to prevent accidental burns. Made from recycled iron with sand casting and CNC finishing, it features a durable enamel coating in rich tones. A space saving lid hanger and integrated spoon rest enhance usability, making it a functional, safe, and modern addition to any kitchen.

Redesign of Kurojyoka

This is a redesign of the kurojyoka, a traditional Kagoshima shochu ceramic teapot, to fit modern lifestyles. The traditional Kurojyoka was formed based on the Japanese hearth heating system, and its shape has remained the same despite changing lifestyles. This project is a continuation of Kagoshima's shochu culture and traditional craftsmanship by modifying this aspect and updating the kurojyoka to fit modern lifestyles.
