Parachute

When listening to Coldplay's first album, it suddenly occurred to the designer to look up the word parachute. It seems that the name parachute comes combining the Italian parare (to protect) with the French chute (to fall). Yusuke Watanabe thought that was a rather fine name. Yusuke Watanabe tried to think of devices that protect against falling. When in use, the plank for the section being used falls, and hangs there. Their coat, their magazine and more this protects them from falling. The sight of looking down on their parachute from up above is rather pleasing, too.

Pineapple Pins

Pineapple Pins is a versatile packaging solution that is offbeat and user-centric in approach. The idea was to come up with a design solution that made the cycle of using push pins easy, versatile and efficient. Ideating a versatile functionality within eco-friendly packaging and keeping it minimal was the aim. The varied stages in the use of the package effectively suffice the cycle of picking, using, and storing push pins. The packaging solution is ergonomic, convenient, eco-friendly, user-friendly, safe from kids, can be used multiple times, and is hassle-free.

Stanley 2701

Stanley 2701 has simple, clean lines, a monolithic architecture inspired by the mysterious black monolith in Stanley Kubrick's film 2001: A Space Odyssey. It has been designed with particular attention to its unique geometry, which allows for direct downlighting and indirect side lighting. Environmentally friendly, the suspension is made from recyclable aluminum. When switched on, soft, gradated lines of light appear on the side surfaces. Off it offers a beautiful play of light and shadow throughout the day. The Stanley lamps can be used alone or in groups.

It's dynamic shapes meet minimalistic approach: one pickup, one volume knob, black colored hardware and body, black ebony fretboard, making it's futuristic stealth-like appearance more expressive and elegant. Well balanced, providing easy access to the top frets, this extended range guitar offers great playing experience in many different styles.

Designed in Italy, Mama is a completely recyclable chair made in China. Stackable, easy to connect, available with or without armrests, Mama is a community seating for conferences, training courses, informal meetings, waiting areas and even outdoor activities. The backrest has an original surface characterized by rounded micro-reliefs designed to reduce the supporting area, thus favoring the natural transpiration of the body. The curves and inclination of all elements have been designed to ensure technical performance and ergonomic comfort.
