Featuring three magnetically connected elements, the portable lamp can be transformed in five different light sculptures, to inspire a new interest in the role light plays in transforming the look, feel, and atmosphere of homes. It can be used as a vase, sculpture or to focus light on a particular area. The five possible combinations are reminiscent of chess, hence the name Scacco Matto, the Italian translation of checkmate.

Water makes ceramics mellow, while ceramics make water lively. The work includes a coffee pot, coffee cups, saucers, and a fruit plate. The design of the work takes water as its source and showcases its different forms, including roundness, fullness, and flow.
Continue readingEquilibrio is a sculptural sink that explores the contrast between the countertop's delicate inclination and its robust volume. Made by the assembly and modeling of several stone pieces in order to achieve a rounded format, the actual sink is created by a diagonal section and a slight tilt of the upper portion of the piece. The suggested supports are asymmetrical, with a hollow tube covering the plumbing on one side and a skinny leg on the other, but this piece could also be used without the supports.
